  • Thyme oil can be used for the sugar scrub by combining 1 cup of white sugar and 1/4 cup of preferred carrier oil with 5 drops each of thyme, lemon, and grapefruit Oil. Apply the scrub onto wet skin in the shower to exfoliate in circular motions to reveal brighter, smoother skin.
  • Thyme oil acts as a mouthwash for maintaining your oral health. Add a drop of the oil to a cup of warm water and use it as a mouthwash.
  • It works as an anti-inflammatory drug. Take and dab a few drops of thyme essential oil on your temples and forehead. At last, gently rub it into your skin and wash it out.
  • For treating acne, you can use thyme oil along with witch hazel oil.  Blend the two in hot water for about 20 minutes. Then, use a cotton ball to apply to the affected areas and wait for 20 minutes and wash with warm water.

Always dilute Thyme Oil with a carrier oil such as coconut, jojoba, or almond before applying to the skin. For respiratory support, add 2–3 drops to hot water and inhale the steam or use in a diffuser to clear airways.
