Moroccan Red Clay is found naturally in Morocco. It is highly absorbent and blends easily with water or other moisturizing oils. It is used externally only, effectively removes toxins and impurities from the skin, and makes it an excellent facial cleanser or purifying mask, primarily for people with sensitive skin.

Moroccan Red Clay, also known as Rhassoul Clay, is a luxurious, mineral-rich, and skin-revitalizing clay sourced from the ancient Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Celebrated for its gentle yet effective cleansing action, Moroccan Red Clay is ideal for routine life skincare—especially for sensitive, dry, dull, or mature skin. Packed with silica, magnesium, potassium, and calcium, it helps nourish the skin, improve elasticity, and promote a naturally radiant complexion. Its fine, silky texture makes it soothing on the skin while absorbing impurities without stripping essential moisture.

This versatile clay blends wonderfully into face masks, scrubs, soaps, cleansers, shampoos, conditioners, body wraps, and a variety of DIY natural skincare formulations. Moroccan Red Clay offers excellent smoothing and softening properties, leaving the skin supple and refreshed. It helps refine pores, calm irritation, and enhance skin brightness. When used on the hair, it gently cleanses the scalp, strengthens strands, removes buildup, and boosts shine—making it a favorite for natural haircare routines.

  • For the face mask, mix one tablespoon of clay with one tablespoon of water or rose water, and make a paste. Then, apply it to clean the face and let it sit for 10 minutes. As the mask dries, it tightens and takes out dirt and impurities from the skin to the surface. When you want to remove, wash off with warm water, and apply a natural moisturizer. You can apply this clay once or twice a week. As a body cleanser, apply the paste over your body and wash it off. You can also mix ¼ teaspoon clay into ¼ cup water, and add to pure castile soap in a foaming soap dispenser and shake it well.

Moroccan Red Clay before applying. Use 2%–40% in DIY skincare such as masks, soaps, scrubs, cleansers, and body wraps. For a soothing face mask, mix the clay with rose water, aloe gel, or plain water. Apply a thin layer to clean skin, let it dry halfway, then rinse gently with lukewarm water. For dry skin, add a few drops of argan, jojoba, or sweet almond oil. In haircare, mix the clay with water to create a creamy paste and apply to the scalp for a natural cleanse. Avoid using undiluted.
